Dental Assistant; DA​/RDA

Overview

Works closely with the RDA Supervisor and other members of the clinic management team to provide prompt dental support, promote a smooth patient flow, collect and record data accurately, and maintain order of the back office, equipment and supplies. Helps ensure access to health care for all members of the community and that patients and families receive care when they need it.

Communicates consistently and openly with the supervisor and staff. May work flexible or extended hours as necessary. Participates in health center in-services and meetings, listening to and respecting others' ideas. Abides by Rules of Confidentiality.

• EDUCATION:
  
  High School graduate or GED - Completed training program in Dental Assisting from Accredited College is required.
• X-Ray certificate is required.
• Coronal Polish certificate is required.
• CPR Card is required.
• LICENSE/ CERTIFICATION:
  Possess a valid Driver's license.
