As an Estimator - Sales professional, you'll be the first point of contact for clients facing property damage from fire, water, storms, and other disasters. This entry-level position in our Estimating track provides comprehensive training and clear advancement opportunities. You'll create detailed estimates using industry-leading Xactimate software, build lasting client relationships, and manage projects from initial assessment through completion.

Client Relations & Business Development

• Build and maintain relationships with insurance adjusters, business owners, schools, and municipalities
• Serve as primary contact with property owners, adjusters, and consultants
• Develop your own book of business with support and mentorship

Technical Estimating & Project Management

• Create accurate floor plans and detailed estimates using Xactimate software
• Develop competitive estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
• Manage project budgets and communicate progress with clients and management
• Coordinate emergency services including board-ups, water damage restoration, and fire damage cleanup

Professional Development

• Participate in Our Client University training programs
• Work toward Basic Xactimate certification and advanced Estimator level certifications
• Gain expertise in building codes, restoration techniques, and industry best practices
• Advance through clearly defined career progression:
  Estimator → Senior Estimator → General Estimator → Executive General Estimator

Essential Qualifications

• English literacy and fluency
• Strong customer service experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and vendors
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• MUST HAVE A RELATIVE BOOK OF BUSINESS WITH ADJUSTERS AND COMMERCIAL BUSINESSES

Technical Requirements

• Understanding of MSDS data sheets and safety protocols
• Ability to identify potential site hazards (asbestos, lead paint, mold)
• Willingness to learn Xactimate software and industry standards
• Knowledge of building codes (or willingness to learn)

• Ability to lift over 50 lbs unassisted
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods
• Manual dexterity for computer work
• Ability to bend, crouch, and stand as needed for site inspections
