The Director of Global Logistics Data & Analytics leads analytics strategy, governance, and transformation across the global logistics organization. This role turns logistics data into decision intelligence to improve service, reduce costs, increase visibility, and support supply chain transformation. The position leads global teams and advances data products, business intelligence, and practical AI capabilities.
Responsibilities- Define and execute the global logistics analytics strategy, roadmap, and portfolio.
- Lead analytics for transportation, distribution, freight costs, inventory flow, carrier performance, and network performance.
- Own logistics data products, KPI standards, governance, data quality, and the global business intelligence portfolio.
- Advance predictive analytics, AI, automation, and self-service reporting capabilities.
- Lead analytics support for enterprise technology transformation programs and partner with senior stakeholders across Logistics, Technology, Finance, and Distribution.
- Lead and develop a global analytics organization and manage budgets, vendors, and investment business cases.
- At least 7 years of experience in logistics analytics, supply chain analytics, business intelligence, data products, enterprise analytics, or transformation leadership.
- At least 2 years of experience leading teams or cross-functional delivery groups.
- Strong logistics knowledge across transportation, distribution, inventory flow, freight operations, and network performance.
- Experience defining analytics strategies, managing portfolios, and delivering business value through data and technology.
- Experience with enterprise BI and cloud analytics tools such as Power BI, Azure, Databricks, SQL, Qlik, or SAP.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, vendor management, financial planning, and change leadership skills.
- Approximately 10% to 25% global travel and ability to support multiple global time zones.
- Hybrid role with at least two days per week on-site, based on business needs.
