Job DescriptionMachine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing machinery within the plant. Key duties include machine operation, monitoring the processes, materials, and quality; inspecting equipment, basic troubleshooting, adjusting settings, and record keeping.
Responsibilities- Set-up, operate, and run manufacturing machinery based on SOPs and work instructions.
- Make necessary adjustments to optimize performance and meet production specifications.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and minor repairs to prevent downtime.
- Load raw materials and unload finished products; operate sealing equipment as needed.
- Weigh, document, and discard scrap generated by equipment.
- Input and record data into operating systems.
- Maintain production level to standard and follow all quality guidelines.
- Inspect product and identify defects or contamination.
- Train new associates in all aspects of the job.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth production processes.
- Work in other areas and departments as requested.
- Adhere to all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following contamination‑control cleaning guidelines.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience and education.
- At least 6–12 months of manufacturing experience and/or training.
- Basic computer skills with ability to locate documents.
- Intermediate English comprehension and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Detail‑oriented, accurate, and dependable.
- Ability to convey machine performance and production progress accurately.
- Independent worker with strong teamwork ability.
- Positive communication with managers and employees.
- Comfortable with overtime and weekend work if required.
- Wear appropriate gowning materials and PPE as defined by plant safety procedures.
- Regularly stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, and pivot; lift up to 40 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to reach with arms, hands, and fingers.
- Visual ability to detect contamination or defects.

$18.80 per hour, with $1 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.
