Orano TN, a subsidiary of Orano USA, is a leader in the U.S. market for uranium transportation logistics and used nuclear fuel pool offload, dry fuel storage, and decommissioning waste transport. With offices in Columbia, Maryland and two manufacturing facilities in North Carolina for dry storage canisters and modules, we are seeking a Plant Manager to manage operations in our nuclear fabrication group in Kernersville, NC.

As Plant Manager, you will plan and direct plant policies, objectives, and initiatives with profit and loss responsibility for the site; define and execute business plans; and manage operations to ensure production compliance, efficiency, quality, delivery, safety, and cost‑effective resource management.

• Lead the plant to achieve a safe, compliant, and productive operation rooted in a healthy nuclear safety culture.
• Create and implement staffing plans, promote and mentor talent, and participate in an internship program.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and capital expenditure plans to improve productivity.
• Manage production and facility‑related expenses, implementing plans to control and reduce spending.
• Manage and evaluate the performance of the management team to ensure compliance with established policies and objectives.
• Provide input for the strategic vision of the nuclear fabrication group, including staffing and investment plans to address new markets.
• Lead the introduction of new products in the fabrication project management department and production line.
• Continuously assess plant capacity and capability, planning, developing, and implementing strategies to meet production and financial goals.
• Develop and review operating dashboards, activity reports, and financial statements to determine progress toward objectives.
• Implement Orano Group compliant policies, Orano TN policies, and required fabrication procedures, and ensure training is conducted for personnel.
