Cook – Full‑time

1750 Kernersville Medical Park, Kernersville, NC 27284

Full‑time. Rotating weekends and holidays.

Fixed $17.00 per hour.

Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality and safety.

• Prepares high‑quality food items according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, maintaining correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Applies proper ticket collection procedures and records service period data.
• Cleans kitchen area after preparation and service, maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Stores or discards excess food following safe food‑handling procedures.
• Maintains refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record‑keeping, and reporting.
• Orders and receives food and supplies as required.
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents to supervisor immediately.
• Attends in‑service and safety meetings.
• Maintains positive relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
• Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance following HACCP standards.
• Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
  • Use medium‑weight cut gloves when handling knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins, or slicer cleaning.
  • Use oven mitts, fryer gloves, or steamer gloves when handling hot pans.
  • Use slip‑resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.

• Prior cooking experience required.
• Ability to work full‑time with rotating weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
