The Medical Assistant, under supervision of nursing leadership, supports provider practice by assisting with direct patient care duties, performing diagnostic testing, maintaining supply inventory, and cleaning/maintaining medical equipment. All duties are performed in compliance with confidentiality standards, promoting the organization’s mission and philosophy.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service skills, ability to use telephone and computer
• Current AHA-approved BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)

• Graduate of medical assistant program or military MA program
• EMR experience, basic ECG rhythm recognition or willingness to learn within 30 days
• MA Certification (preferred)
• Previous healthcare experience

• Current BLS CPR certification (required)
