- Assist with diagnostic imaging under supervision of the Peterson Urgent Care management team, acquiring diagnostic images using ALARA techniques.
- Support provider practice by assisting with direct patient care duties under close nursing supervision.
- Perform diagnostic testing, maintain supply inventory levels, and clean/maintain medical equipment.
- LMRT or NCT classes
- Graduate of a medical assistant program or military MA program.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, decision‑making and patient‑care skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, positioning, techniques, radiation protection and safety.
- Knowledge of radiographic physics and medical terminology.
- Comprehensive knowledge of proper technique including intravenous starts.
- Ability to administer medications and injections within scope of position within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent computer and keyboarding skills.
- Ability to determine exposure factors for optimum radiographic images with minimal patient exposure.
- Ability to examine images for evaluation of techniques and positions.
- Skill in safe and efficient operation of imaging equipment.
- Ability to develop and improve image acquisition techniques.
- NCT or LMRT, CPR
- Entry‑level technologist
- One year of experience
