The Phone Triage Nurse, under general supervision, provides nursing triage services and health advice over the phone. This role involves evaluating, assessing, and documenting patients' questions or concerns, requiring clinical judgment, empathetic listening, and critical thinking. All duties must be performed in compliance with confidentiality standards, promoting the organization’s mission and philosophy.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Skills: Knowledge of quality nursing practices, organizational skills, computer proficiency, excellent communication, ability to multitask, attention to detail, teamwork, and prioritization skills
• Licensure/Certification: Current Texas LVN licensure and CPR certification
• Experience: Two years in a medical office, hospital, or case management setting; preferred experience with database systems and telephone triage
