Job Description
Tru7 Group are looking for a proactive, safety-focused and hands-on Plant Supervisor to join the team and support our operations across multiple sites.
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the plant you’re covering, making sure concrete and mortar production and dispatch run safely, efficiently and to the standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities- Managing day-to-day plant operations
- Batching concrete and mortar
- Operating computerised batching & dispatch systems
- Monitoring production, quality and output
- Liaising with our Customer Service Centre
- Working with customers, hauliers and contractors
- Carrying out plant inspections and basic maintenance
- Managing raw material levels and stock checks
- Supervising visitors, contractors and site personnel
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
- Supporting health, safety, environmental and quality compliance
- Identifying problems and finding practical solutions
- Helping us continually improve plant efficiency and performance
We’re looking for someone with experience in a production, manufacturing, construction materials, plant or heavy industrial environment.

- Organised and reliable
- Good with IT and computer-based systems
- A problem solver who doesn't wait for someone else to fix things
- Flexible and happy travelling between sites
Experience in ready-mix concrete, mortar, aggregates, quarrying or construction materials would be a big advantage, but we’re also interested in people with the right operational and plant experience.
