Peace Health is looking for an experienced Anesthesiologist in Ketchikan, Alaska!

Ideal Candidate
  • Possess a diverse skill set and be comfortable practicing independently.
  • Experience in specialties including but not limited to General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OB, Trauma, and Pediatric Dental.
  • Able to perform ultrasound guided blocks, OB labor epidurals, and central lines.
Practice Highlights
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm.
  • Must be comfortable practicing solo with no backup.
  • Regularly serves orthopedics, general surgery, OB/GYN. Also ENT, GI, Plastics, Pediatric Dental, Women's Health Surgeries, Urology.
  • EPIC EMR.
Department/Location Specific Notes
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, or PALs required within 30 days of hire.

Peace Health has been serving the communities of Southeast Alaska since 1923 with Ketchikan Medical Center, a 25‑bed critical‑access hospital offering comprehensive trauma care, outpatient and home health services, and a 29‑bed long‑term care facility. Primary and specialty medical care is provided by Peace Health Medical Group—Ketchikan and Prince of Wales Island. Our Trauma IV emergency department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, staffed by physicians who are independent contractors employed by National Emergency Services (NES).
