Business Analyst Clinical​/Pharmacy Technician

Peace Health is seeking an IS Business Analyst Clinical

The salary range for this job opening at Peace Health is $36.83 - $55.25.

The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Responsible for maintaining information/data systems, works with key stakeholders for System wide initiatives, system upgrades, implementation of software and assisting to define business needs for the design/development of software. Applies knowledge of clinical process flows, clinical practices and needs in work.

• Troubleshoot issues, test software, make modifications, implement upgrades, assist in the identification of software needs and provide user guidelines and training.

• Maintains data, develops, documents, and generates reports, maximize system capabilities for tracking and reporting on information.

• Acts as primary resource for delivery of technology needs and the translation of those need to information technology systems, researching solutions and redirecting as needed.

• Work with System IT Caregivers, key stakeholders and Vendors as needed to maintain, upgrade, install new or replace software, hardware, etc. as needed.

• Analyzes structure and workflow through unit, recommends changes that optimize data integrity and use of information technology.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Associate Degree
  
  Required:
  
  Computing or equivalent education and/or experience (Epic building, Epic Software)

• Minimum of 3 years
  
  Required:
  
  related experience

• Required: Certified Pharmacy Tech
  - Alaska

• Required: Certified Pharmacy Technician
  - National and

• Required: Driver's License
• Preferred:
  Epic experience

• Proficiency in standard software programs, i.e. Word, Excel, Windows, etc.. (Required)

• Proven ability to develop, analyze, interpret data and develop reports. (Required)

• Working knowledge of standard office equipment such as facsimiles, photo copiers, multi-line phones, etc. (Required)

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. (Required)

• May function as a Pharmacy Buyer or Pharmacy Technician Lead on a limited as needed basis.

• Must meet the minimum requirements of those jobs

• Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.

• Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

• Sedentary work.

• Predominantly operates in an office environment.

• Some time spent on site in medical/hospital setting.

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
