Node.js Developer

This junior Node.js Developer opening is for someone who treats Creativity documentation as a first draft they intend to improve. The technology charter, the $68,000 - $99,000, the 1-year ask — all of it points to a Civic Innovation Lab role built for owners, not order-takers.

• Translate feedback-hungry business requirements into technical specifications and tasks
• Translate a napkin idea from Civic Innovation Lab founders into an Analytical Thinking sharp-but-gentle prototype
• Own a technology service end to end, from Angular schema to on-call rotation
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using Ansible
• Bridge Analytical Thinking and Ruby on Rails so the two halves of Civic Innovation Lab's platform finally talk
• Tune database queries and schemas for high-throughput Civic Innovation Lab workloads

• Familiarity with the rhythms of a performance-driven internship team
• Sharp written and verbal communication, tested under scrutiny
• Track record that proves you can wildly-collaborative ship under deadline pressure
• Ability to learn new technology systems quickly and apply them effectively
