About Cape Fox Lodge Cape Fox Corporation represents the Tlingit Alaska Natives from the Village of Saxman (Southeast Alaska). We were founded over 50 years ago and have changed our business focus from harvesting timber to hospitality, tourism, real estate, and federal contracting. CFC has several successful and thriving commercial businesses in Ketchikan, Alaska that provide visitors and locals alike the best food, luxury, and adventure we have to offer.

Dockside Galley - a small, local favorite in Saxman, AK that serves up the best burgers and shakes on the island;
Bar Harbor Ale House - the ultimate dining destination featuring crafted beers and BBQ with a flair; 108 Taphouse & Burger Bar - a warm, inviting environment serving craft cocktails, pub burgers and more;
Eagle's Nest - the newest addition to the CFC family bringing brick-oven pizza to a whole new meaning;
Cape Fox Tours - specializing in shore excursions that emphasize Alaska's native culture and local history;
Ward Cove Cruise Terminal - a premium concession stand serving Ketchikan favorites and beer on tap. All locations have several positions open for the summer season, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, entry-level, certified-level and more.

• Get your station ready to roll with all the top-notch ingredients and kitchen equipment you need to work your magic.
• Slice, dice, and chop like a pro to prep ingredients that will make mouths water.
• Cook up a storm using a variety of utensils and grillers, delivering sizzling and perfectly grilled dishes.
• Monitor culinary creations, flipping or stirring as needed to maintain quality.
• Plate dishes with presentation that looks like a work of art before it hits the table.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and efficient with spotless surfaces and organized ingredients.
• Proper food storage and handling to ensure ingredients are in the right place.
• Taste, adjust, and ensure each dish is cooked to perfection before serving.
• Adhere to high sanitation standards to keep everyone safe and healthy.
• Monitor stock levels and inform your supervisor when restocks are needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent (bonus points if you’ve completed culinary school).
• Strong cooking skills across grilling, baking, boiling, and other techniques with a desire to grow.
• Proficiency with cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
• Commitment to following sanitation procedures and cleanliness.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, customer service-oriented, and capable of delivering an unforgettable dining experience.
• Effective communication in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Stamina and physical fitness to handle kitchen demands.
