Equipment Operator Journey 1 / 2 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!
Base salary for:Equipment Operator Journey 1 - $31.85 / Hourly (OT Eligible)
Equipment Operator Journey 2 - $33.71 / Hourly (OT Eligible)
What you will be doing:As part of a dedicated maintenance crew, this position helps keep State highways and airports safe and operational year-round. Duties include operating and maintaining heavy and light equipment, maintaining roads, vegetation, signs, bridges, culverts, drainage structures, bike paths, and other State right-of-way assets, as well as performing traffic control and flagging. This position performs work across a variety of maintenance activities and may require shift work.
