Senior Accountant

Role Overview

This role is kind of like the best of both worlds – a firm of accountants large enough that you have heard of them but small enough where you still feel part of a team. It was created as a newly created role to add structure to the team after the company expanded over the last 18 months.

• Oversee and mentor junior staff while continuing to manage your own clients.
• Review work, provide guidance, and perform accounting and audit tasks with autonomy.
• Maintain a balanced workload across accounts, audit and tax – roughly equal parts between the three.
• Deliver high quality service without a need for overtime.

• Senior level experience within practice.
• Mix of accounts and audit work.
• Comfortable covering rounded roles across accounts, audit and tax.

• Work from home and office with an adjustable split.
• Flexi‑time in the office, enabling start later or finish earlier.
• All clients are based in or around Northamptonshire.
• Opportunity for internal promotions or a route through to industry in the future.
