Semi-Senior Accountant - c £34K - £36K Kettering

Our client, an established and reputable firm of chartered accountants has exciting plans for growth in 2026 and is planning for recruitment now.

A fantastic opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant with experience working for a UK based firm of accountants, dealing with the preparation of accounts ready for manager/partner review with little supervision.

• Accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships in accordance with UK GAAP.
• Prepare corporation tax returns in respect of accounting periods, in accordance with the Taxes and other relevant Acts.
• Prepare VAT returns on a quarterly or annual basis as required and file the returns within the deadline, advising client of any payment amount due.
• Prepare monthly management accounts to meet with client reporting deadlines
• Deal with correspondence and queries from clients and in a timely fashion.
• Assist and support junior members of the team when required.

You will be used to working with clients and will also undertake management accounting work at clients' premises on occasion.
