Site Procurement Manager, Site Procurement Operations

Join a fast‑paced global procurement organization focused on Amazon operations. In this role you will lead and deliver strategic procurement projects for internal business partners across local, regional, national, and European levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand business needs, justify requirements, recommend solutions, and manage complex projects with high spend, risks, confidentiality, time constraints, and across multiple sites.
  • Build effective stakeholder relationships to deliver high service levels, analyze scope, and negotiate with vendors on cost, lead times and other key elements for local, regional, country‑wide and Europe‑wide projects.
  • Utilize applications and systems to provide accurate metrics, reporting and data, including supplier performance metrics; enhance tools to analyze opportunities, risks on spend, categories, vendors and legal aspects.
  • Lead the Site Procurement Operations process from needs detection to contracting and implementation follow‑up, including sourcing, supplier due diligence, negotiation, risk assessment using Coupa (ERP) and other tools, and deliver complex RFIs and RFQs across multiple sites, business units and countries.
  • Create and execute contractual agreements such as Work Orders and Master Supply Agreements, driving contract compliance from vendors and mastering CLM (Contract Life Management).
  • Execute and support national and EU‑wide procurement projects and initiatives (tenders, cost optimisation, sustainability, process improvements), collaborating with Global Procurement teams such as Category and Finance.
  • Govern supplier performance to ensure high service levels in lead time, quality and maintenance; lead and support M /Q , ensuring invoicing and payment processes run correctly for Amazon and vendors.
  • Act as SME for a local category to identify savings opportunities, perform spend analysis and support strategy definition for the country network; deliver additional monetary value through complex cost/revenue levers (operational savings, revenue generation, warrants, long‑term contracts).
  • Embed Amazon’s sustainability goals with stakeholders, reduce waste, re‑use materials, ensure CSR compliance, and contribute strategically EU‑wide cross‑functional teams and initiatives.
  • Meet targeted KPIs to deliver value, including savings, financial metrics, sustainability and maintain compliance against these categories.
  • Ensure full compliance with the company Spending & Transaction policy, educate stakeholders, drive correct procurement behaviours, and lead M /Q  with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as Country SME for a large category and/or extend SME responsibilities to EU scope level.
  • Provide training to other buyers on functional skills.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business, IT or any other procurement related career.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer skills.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis.
  • Strong written and spoken English with the ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Analysis, Construction or related fields.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) in large organizations.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and time management.
  • Experience working with customers and delivering exceptional service, with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and effective communication.
  • Experience in procurement and purchasing, including supplier relationship management.
  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross‑functional teams across geographies and business units.
  • CIPS accreditation or equivalent functional knowledge or accreditation if no procurement‑related degree.
