Looking to start or develop your career in Ecommerce?
We're recruiting on behalf of an established and successful business looking for an Ecommerce Delivery Assistant to join their friendly and supportive digital team.
This opportunity could be perfect for a recent graduate looking to kick-start your career, or someone with a small amount of experience in ecommerce, digital, website administration, marketing or a similar environment who is now ready to take that next step.
You don't need years of experience! What's much more important is that you're organised, naturally curious, have excellent attention to detail and enjoy understanding how things work.
You'll be joining an experienced team where you'll receive plenty of support, guidance and on-the-job development, giving you the opportunity to build valuable hands-on experience across ecommerce, website testing and digital projects.
What will you be doing?Working as part of the Ecommerce Delivery team, you'll get involved in a broad range of activities, including:
- Testing websites and new functionality to make sure everything works as it should
- Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Identifying and raising website bugs and helping track them through to resolution
- Supporting new website releases and project launches
- Working alongside internal teams, developers and external suppliers
- Helping with ecommerce projects, research and planning
- Preparing data and supporting website set-up activities
- Carrying out competitor and industry research
- Helping identify improvements to website functionality and customer experience
- Creating and maintaining ecommerce processes and training resources
- Supporting with reporting, audits and general administration
- Making occasional content and image updates across websites
- Supporting meetings, documentation and project trackers
We're much more interested in your potential, attitude and willingness to learn than expecting you to arrive knowing everything.
You'll ideally be:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Naturally curious and interested in technology and ecommerce
- Someone who enjoys problem-solving and understanding how things work
- Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- A good communicator who enjoys working with different people
- Comfortable working independently as well as within a team
- Motivated to learn and develop your skills
You could be a graduate looking for your first commercial opportunity, or perhaps you've already gained some experience within ecommerce, digital marketing, website administration, projects or a similar role and are looking for somewhere you can really develop.
A great opportunity to develop
This is a role where you'll be able to learn, develop and gradually take on more responsibility, with plenty of support around you.
If you're looking for an opportunity to get your foot in the door within ecommerce and build a long-term career in the digital space, this could be a fantastic next move.
