Overview
Job Title:
Quantity Surveyor - Passive Fire Protection
Location:
Kettering (Office-based / Hybrid)
- Commercial management of multiple passive fire protection projects
- Preparation and submission of valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
- Cost control, forecasting, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Management of variations and change control
- Liaison with clients, main contractors, and internal project teams
- Support procurement of materials and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and industry regulations
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or specialist subcontracting
- Understanding of Passive Fire Protection works and relevant legislation
- Strong knowledge of contracts (JCT/NEC preferred)
- Ability to manage costs and commercial risk
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Experience in Passive Fire Protection, fire stopping, or fire doors
- Professional qualification or working towards (RICS or equivalent)
- Experience working with main contractors and local authorities
