We are inviting applications for the post of Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon to join our forward-thinking and collaborative breast service within the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire NHS Group. The successful applicant will play a key role in shaping the future of breast care across Northamptonshire, contributing to service development, clinical leadership, and the delivery of exceptional patient experiences, The primary clinical responsibilities of the post holder are:

• To ensure the provision and delivery of a first-class clinical service.
• To provide effective leadership to all staff engaged in the specialty.
• To provide specialist breast surgical services for in-patients, day cases and out-patients, with continuing responsibility for the patients and their care and for the proper functioning of the department.
• To support and continue to develop the Oncoplastic/reconstructive aspects of the breast service.
• To contribute to the Breast MDT.
• To actively remain clinically competent.
• To teach staff/medical students.
• To work to all Trust Policies and procedures.
• To work flexibly.
