• Educated to MBBS and post graduate radiology qualification/FRCR (full or part) level or equivalent level of education.
• Full Registration with the GMC and hold a current license to practice.
• Minimum of 3 years radiology training or experience
• Not previously relinquished, released or removed from a training programme in this specialty except under exceptional circumstances

• PREVIOUS NHS EXPERIENCE
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• ACHIEVED ALL RCR TRAINING COMPETENCIES AS IN E- PORTFOLIO
• MBBS, MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
• FRCR 1 or 2A

• To have achieved competencies expected for level of training reflected in e portfolio or RCR portfolio.
• Evidence of interest & experience in formal teaching.

• Previous NHS experience with sub-speciality experience is required.
• Evidence of an understanding of the basic principles and importance of research.
• Evidence of academic & research achievements, e.g. degrees, awards, distinctions, publications, presentations, other achievements commensurate with stage of career.
• Demonstrates understanding of the basic principles of audit
• Evidence of active participation in audit.

• Capacity to operate effectively under pressure & remain objective in pressurised & changing situations.
• Awareness of own limitations & when to ask for help
• Leadership & Team Involvement:
  Capacity to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team & demonstrate leadership when appropriate. Capacity to establish good working relations with others.

• Capacity to communicate effectively & sensitively in both written and spoken form with others, able to explain options to patients in a way they can understand.

• Is up to date in management training at current institution.

• Interest in general radiology imaging, including acute imaging.
• Meets professional health requirements (in line with GMC standards/Good Medical Practice).
• Satisfactory enhanced CRB disclosure.
• Satisfactory occupational health clearance.

• Evidence that present achievement and performance is commensurate with totality of period of training.

• Capacity to manage time and prioritise workload, balance urgent & important demands and follow instructions as well as to work without direct supervision where appropriate.
