Cover Supervisors; Temporary

Position: Cover Supervisors (Temporary)
We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Northampton and Kettering areas. This is a daily supply role, ideal for individuals with strong experience working in UK secondary school settings who are looking for flexible work without the requirement for QTS.

You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences.

Responsibilities

* Supervise whole classes across KS3 and KS4 during teacher absences

* Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure pupils remain on task

* Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment

* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

* Support pupil engagement and wellbeing

* Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times

* Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of the day where required

Requirements

* Previous experience working in a UK secondary school (essential)

* Confidence supervising KS3 and KS4 classes

* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

* Reliable, flexible, and professional approach

* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

* QTS not required
