We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and committed Primary SEND Teacher to join our partner specialist school located in Kettering. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering outstanding education for children with special educational needs and disabilities. You will play a key role in creating a positive, engaging and highly supportive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Pupils at the school have a range of additional needs including autism, communication and interaction difficulties, sensory needs, and complex learning needs. You will adapt learning to meet individual needs while fostering confidence, independence, and achievement.

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and external professionals.
• Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well‑being.
• Contribute to the wider life of the academy and ongoing curriculum development.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally within a primary or specialist setting.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and strong behaviour management skills.
• Is patient, adaptable, and resilient.
• Has a passion for inclusive education and pupil‑centred learning.
• Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
