Paraplanner

Following significant growth over recent years, they are now looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced and detail-oriented Paraplanner/Technical Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys technical analysis, collaborative working and delivering exceptional client outcomes within a supportive and ambitious business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Financial Planners through technical research, financial analysis and the preparation of high-quality financial planning recommendations.

• Conducting detailed financial analysis, including reviewing client income, assets, liabilities and objectives
• Using financial planning software to model scenarios and projections
• Researching investment products, funds and financial planning strategies
• Assisting Financial Planners in the creation of comprehensive financial plans
• Supporting the wider team with client servicing and administrative duties where required
• Managing and maintaining accurate client data and records
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes
• Communicating with clients to gather information and clarify objectives
• Collaborating closely with Advisers, providers and colleagues to deliver an excellent client experience
• Sharing technical knowledge and best practice with the wider team

• Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent qualification
• Advanced qualifications such as Chartered Financial Planner, Advanced Diploma, or CFP are advantageous
• Previous experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar technical role within financial services
• Strong understanding of financial planning, investment products and industry regulations
• Experience using financial planning software and research tools
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• A proactive and collaborative approach to work
