Financial Accounts Analyst

Purpose of Position

Completion of timely and accurate financial transactions for a defined portfolio of clients.

Timely and accurate financial transactional processing in the areas of:

• VAT
• Payroll preparation
• Purchase ledger management
• Preparing and sending out unpaid bills report
• Preparing weekly payment runs
• Sales ledger and credit control – bank and weekly bank reconciliations
• Month‑end reconciliation and adjustments
• Client in‑box management (responding to, actioning and filing emails in a timely manner)
• Maintaining and updating client "How To" documents
• Taking part in the phone rota

• Good literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to GCSE 5+ in English and Maths)
• Experience and working knowledge of basic use of MS Office Excel
• AAT, CIMA or ACCA trainee or qualified by experience
• Experience with accounting software, preferably Quick Books, Xero, and Sage
• Experience of using MS Excel in a finance role – relevant experience in a similar role covering most of the same transactional areas

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm – Hybrid working 1 day a week after probation.

£24,000 – £27,000 depending on experience.
