Do youwant to make a positive change to people's lives?We have an exciting opportunity at Sense for you to work as aWaking Night Support Worker and join our friendly well-established team in Kettering.
This is a permanent role, working 24.75 hours per week. The shift patterns at this service are as follows: 10.00pm – 7.00am over a 4-week rota including some weekends.
At our Residential home wesupport6 individuals with dual sensory impairments. This role will be supporting individuals with a range of sensory and physical disabilities to ensure individuals needs are met and that they remain safe during the night. There will be an opportunities to develop and use a range of communication methods.
The people we support are individuals and therefore treated as such, as a general guide waking night staff will be responsible for supporting with personal care needs during the night and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and record keeping.
For genuine occupational reasons we are looking to appoint afemale candidate only(exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule
9).
