Local Government Pension Scheme, 27 days annual leave plus public holidays Venn Group are working with a large and well-established education organisation seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its People Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service, providing expert advice and guidance across recruitment, employee relations, organisational change, absence management, policy development, and staff development activities.

Key Responsibilities Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers across a broad range of employee relations matters. Support recruitment, selection, onboarding, induction and probation processes. Lead on absence management cases, including Occupational Health referrals and review meetings. Advise on disciplinary, grievance, capability and investigation processes, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice. Support organisational change projects, including restructures and TUPE-related activity.

Assist with job evaluation and workforce planning initiatives. Contribute to the development and review of HR policies and procedures. Support safeguarding compliance, DBS processes and maintenance of personnel records. Deliver and support HR training for managers and staff. Contribute to strategic and operational HR projects across the organisation. About You CIPD qualification, degree-level qualification or equivalent HR experience. Significant experience providing HR advice and support across a wide range of HR matters.

Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. Experience managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence processes.
