People Business Partner – Watford Salary: £40,000

Watford Head Office Working pattern: 5 days on site Resourcing4HR are delighted to be working with a growing organisation in recruiting a People Business Partner to join their HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist who enjoys being close to the business and making a real impact across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with the Head of People, you’ll provide hands-on HR support across Head Office and the operational business, acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing day-to-day HR advice across the full employee lifecycle Managing complex employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances and performance matters Supporting investigations and advising managers on appropriate action Coaching managers to become effective people leaders Supporting conflict resolution and mediation Managing absence and supporting employee wellbeing Advising on employment law and ensuring HR policies are applied consistently Supporting recruitment, onboarding and performance management Maintaining accurate HR records and HR systems Driving employee engagement and supporting an inclusive workplace culture Supporting HR projects and initiatives alongside the Head of People Providing HR support across multiple operational locations as required

About you:

You’ll be a confident HR Generalist, HR Advisor or People Partner with strong employee relations experience and a genuine passion for supporting people. Ideally, you’ll have: CIPD Level 3 or above, or equivalent HR experience Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice Experience managing ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances and absence Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills A commercial and pragmatic approach Confidence advising managers and senior stakeholders Experience working in a fast-paced, operational environment Retail, FMCG or multi-site experience would be advantageous Should you be interested in discussing this vacancy please contact Annabel Green via Linked In.
