Supply Chain Coordinator

Join a growing organisation as a Supply Chain Coordinator, where you'll play a key role in delivering efficient order fulfilment and maintaining excellent customer service across a portfolio of clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous supply chain or operations experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building strong relationships with customers and third-party providers.

About the Role

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering order fulfilment in line with agreed service standards for a defined portfolio of clients. Working closely with customers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and the wider team, you will manage orders, resolve queries, investigate discrepancies and support accurate reporting to ensure the smooth running of the supply chain function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process customer orders, including EDI and manual orders.
  • Manage order fulfilment and resolve order-related issues.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers regarding order fulfilment.
  • Process invoices and resolve invoice queries.
  • Liaise with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and monitor performance.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery discrepancies, including raising credit notes where appropriate.
  • Produce periodic reports as required by the client contract.
  • Complete month-end stock reconciliations and adjustment reporting.
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar supply chain, operations or order fulfilment role.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to GCSE Grade 5 or above in English and Maths).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using accounting software, preferably Quick Books, Xero or Sage.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel within an operations environment.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
