• Act as person in charge and stand in for the Manager as required.
• Observe all instructions and act on behalf of the Manager to ensure high standards of care for residents.
• Undertake nursing tasks, including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advising families of residents and general practitioners of any changes in condition and keeping them informed and involved in care decisions.
• Supervise and deploy staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during duty periods and residents receive necessary care.
• Provide accurate assessment and planning to maintain high standards of care.

• DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
• First Level qualification with current NMC Registration.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with up‑to‑date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post‑basic studies or qualification.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
