VACANCY Role: FOOTWEAR TECHNOLOGIST

37.5 hrs per week /26 We are seeking a Technologist to meet customer needs, testing products to ensure compliance with legislation, provision of information and presenting at seminars whilst promoting the SATRA brand. About

The Role As a Technologist your key responsibilities will include:
Discussing results and new work with customers Drafting reports and responding to customer emails Meeting with customers and presenting seminars/webinars Working to and understanding Quality System and Health & Safety requirements Supporting technicians development Deliver SAFT training programme Contributing to writing of technical articles for internal and external publication Involvement in customer visits and promotion of services About You Essential Footwear industry experience Educated to A Level in Maths or Science Familiar with physical testing techniques Demonstrated organisation and planning skills Customer facing experience Confident presenter Excellent time management and scheduling skills Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Ability to work on own and as part of a team Highly motivated Problem solving and logical thinking Willingness to travel Desirable Knowledge of Safety Footwear standards/test methods/PPE Regulation Completion of SAFT course or working towards completion Degree in Maths or Science Full, clean driving licence
