Area Sales Manager /Trainee opportunityas part ofour market leading agricultural sales team.

The roleisbased at our Pytchleydepot, near Kettering,covering a specific geographic area of responsibility.

You willlearnabout our market leading productsandfrom our experienced,professionalsales team. The successful candidate will learn how to manage their sales areaand the complete sales cyclein order tosell product and gain market share.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and expanding family-owned business. The successful candidate will be selling new and used machinery from leading franchises such as Case IH, JCB, Bailey Trailers, and many more.

• Manage a geographic area of responsibility for the sale of agricultural machinery
• Cultivate the customer base to build relationships and generate salesand new business
• Use all essential computer applications and sales tools to maintain accurate records
• Assist in organising, and take part in, relevant field demonstrations
• Complete handover and installation activities
• Build and maintain up-to-date product and customer-based knowledge
• Actively engage in the sales and marketing plan to ensure achievement of goals including a market share objective.
• Keep up to date with competitor products, monitor competitor activity along with market and industry trends.
• Take part in relevant sales and personal training
• Support the sales team in daily duties

• Be willing to learn
• Have good knowledge of agricultural equipment and farming operational practices (not essential and can be learnt)
• Be capable and proficient at using standard computer applications, internet functions, and sales tools
• Deliver a first class customer experience by having detailed product knowledge, following an effective sales process, and displaying excellent customer relationship skills.
• Be able to work extended hours when required
• Have a great attitude, conduct oneself with confidence, integrity and honesty.

Fully dependant on experience. Basic salary with additional commission structure.
