We are searching for an Area Sales Manger Solution (m/f/x) in the UK.

• New business development and account management for the defined territory with the United Kingdom within the Solutions division, in line with the strategic direction
• Supporting customers in close coordination with the internal stakeholders ASM Products and ASM Service
• Providing technical advice/consultancy to customers and supporting them in the implementation of their specifications
• Working closely with the internal sales team on quotations, price lists, delivery agreements, etc.
• Identifying market trends and buyer behavior, and providing feedback to Global Product Management and the R&D Centre to drive the development of new solutions and applications
• Maintaining the customer database and ensuring that all information is up to date (SAP/CRM)
• Representing the company, for example at trade fairs and customer events

• A degree in a technical subject such as electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering; alternatively, a technical trade, or equivalent educational background, including business with a strong technical aptitude
• At least 5 years’ professional experience in a technical sales field – e.g. intralogistics plant engineering, drive technology, control engineering or similar
• Strong service and customer focus
• Proven track record for prospecting new business, both at end users and other sales channels.
• Ability to work independently and with self‑motivation
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for technology
• Willingness to travel extensively within the sales territory and to the relevant production sites, including to the main continent for training and sales meetings
