We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Advisor to join a growing business based in Stourport-on-Severn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building relationships and spotting opportunities to grow business.

Working within the waste management and recycling sector, you'll play an important role in supporting customers across the UK, helping them find the right solutions for their business while contributing to a more sustainable future.

This is a varied role combining customer service, sales and administration, giving you plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and make a real impact. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring they receive an excellent level of service. Responding to incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing helpful advice and solutions. Preparing accurate and competitive quotations, identifying opportunities to secure new business. Proactively contacting existing customers to identify additional service requirements and opportunities to increase sales. Supporting outbound sales campaigns and promotional activities to generate new business opportunities.

Managing customer orders, arranging collections and ensuring services are delivered efficiently. Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to coordinate collections and resolve customer queries. Keeping customers updated on collection dates, delivery schedules and estimated arrival times. Maintaining accurate customer records, quotations and sales activity using the CRM system. Managing your own sales pipeline and following up on outstanding quotations to maximise opportunities.

Supporting customers with relevant waste management regulations and compliance requirements. Working closely with the wider team to achieve sales targets and deliver a consistently high standard of customer service. What are we looking for? We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a great work ethic and a genuine passion for helping customers. You'll ideally bring:
At least 12 months' experience in customer service, sales support or an administrative role. A confident and friendly telephone manner, with the ability to build rapport with customers. A proactive approach to sales, with the confidence to identify and follow up on new opportunities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Good attention to detail when preparing quotations and processing customer orders. Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A willingness to learn, take on new challenges and develop your knowledge. GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English. Above all, we're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, isn't afraid to pick up the phone and wants to be part of a business where they can grow and succeed.
