# Rough Sleep Support Worker
** North Northamptonshire Council
** North Northamptonshire (Office-based, 5 days per week) **£34.75 per hour Umbrella OR £25.32 per hour PAYE
** 37 hours per week Initial 3-month contract ASAP Start Available North Northamptonshire Council is seeking an experienced and dedicated
** Rough Sleep Support Worker
** to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of homelessness and rough sleeping services who is passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals within the community.##
Key Responsibilities
* Engage directly with rough sleepers through outreach and support activities across North Northamptonshire.
* Complete assessments and develop tailored support plans to help individuals access accommodation and specialist support services.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams, external agencies and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes.
* Undertake occasional out-of-hours outreach work as required.
* Identify, manage and escalate safeguarding concerns and risks appropriately.
* Maintain accurate case records and reports in line with service requirements.## Essential Requirements
* Previous experience supporting rough sleepers and homeless individuals.
* Good understanding of homelessness legislation and associated support services.
* Knowledge of safeguarding principles and risk management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Enhanced Adult DBS clearance.
