Refuse Driver

Class 1 Personnel are working with a local client to recruit a HGV2 Refuse Driver for their site based in Kettering/Wellingborough. This is being offered on an on-going basis (permanent opportunity)

Hours:

06:30 to 16:30 hrs Mon to Fri

• Valid HGV 2 licence
• CPC card
• Tacho Card

• Must hold full driving licence with HGV2 eligibility.
• Must have a valid CPC and Tacho card
• Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans
• Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

• Driving to planned collection locations and loading refuse into the truck.
• Helping out loading and unloading vehicles when required.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
• Using onboard technology to complete work notes.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads.
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.

• Good attention to detail
• Good level of physical fitness
• Reliability and good time keeping skills.
• previous experience working on Dustcarts is desirable
