Class 1 HGV Driver

About the Role

Based out of Kettering, you’ll collect refrigerated trailers and deliver temperature‑controlled goods to customer sites across the UK. You’ll maintain the integrity of chilled and frozen loads, ensuring they are transported safely and within required temperature ranges.

The role involves tipping, reloading, and returning to the depot, supporting time‑sensitive supply chains and keeping essential food and retail distribution moving.

Shifts Available:
Days, Tramping, & Nights

• Timely collections and deliveries across the UK
• Safe transport of goods
• Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Accurate record keeping of deliveries and driving hours
• Compliance with all road safety and transport regulations

You’re a professional Class 1 Driver who takes pride in doing the job right. Whether your background is in general haulage, fridge work, or both, you’re thorough with vehicle checks, safety conscious, and confident working independently.

You’re up to date with your CPC, DIGI card, and driving hours, and you bring a customer‑first attitude to every job. Experience with ferry trailers or dockside operations is a bonus.
