• Plan and coordinate transportation routes for efficient delivery of goods
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Optimize transportation processes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and performance metrics
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers to address any issues or concerns
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in transportation planning
• Maintaining a professional attitude when liaising with customers
• Planner to be on call when not in the office.

• Proven experience as a Transport Planner or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
• Strong knowledge of the UK road networks
• Proficient in using transportation management software and systems
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
