ADR Class 1 HGV Driver

About the role

As an ADR Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of a variety of goods, including hazardous materials where required. You'll play a key role in ensuring deliveries are completed on time, compliantly, and to the highest safety standards.

You will be responsible for:

Driving Class 1 vehicles on scheduled collection and delivery routes

Transporting ADR and non-ADR loads safely and compliantly

Carrying out daily vehicle and trailer checks and reporting defects

Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records

Ensuring all loads are secured correctly and transported safely

Following all driver hours, tachograph, ADR, and road transport regulations

Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all delivery locations

About you

You'll hold a valid Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, digital tachograph card, and a current ADR qualification. Previous experience transporting hazardous goods is desirable, along with a strong understanding of transport compliance and safety requirements.

You'll thrive in this role if you're reliable, organised, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential.
