Accountant, Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the integrity of our financial operations. This position is responsible for overseeing the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and providing deep-dive analysis into our fiscal performance. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical GAAP expertise and the ability to mentor junior staff.

• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger.
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review staff accountants’ reconciliations.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Manage complex and estimation areas within financial reporting.

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, corporate, or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and health care industry standards.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and accounting software.

• Master’s in Business Administration or Accountancy.
• CPA or CPA candidate status.
• Experience in a non-profit healthcare organization.
