Role Description

This is an on‑site full or part‑time W2 position for a Mental Health Counselor based in Kettering, OH. The Mental Health Counselor will provide individual and group therapy sessions, develop personalized treatment plans, and assess client progress. Responsibilities also include engaging with clients to address a wide range of emotional and mental health needs, collaborating with other professionals when necessary, and maintaining client confidentiality and records in compliance with ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in individual therapy, group therapy
  • Ability to create and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessed client needs
  • Strong communication and active listening skills, with a client‑focused approach
  • Familiarity with addressing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief
  • Experience working with diverse age groups and backgrounds
  • Master’s degree in Counseling
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC | LPCC)
  • Commitment to ethical practices in counseling and maintaining confidentiality
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to client needs
