Job Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high‑quality MRI exams in a timely manner while maintaining a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols, including those related to research workflows. They interact positively with multiple patient populations and serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team. Flexibility is essential, as the position may require on‑call availability and holiday coverage. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from ARRT accredited MRI educational program OR Graduate from ARMRIT accredited MRI education program
  • Minimum 1 year MRI experience preferred. ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT at hire (Preferred). OR ARRT in one of these Radiography (R)/Nuclear Medicine (N)/Radiation Therapy (T)/Sonography (S) required and get ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT within 24 months of hire date
  • BLS required

  • Well‑versed and compliant in MRI safety and understands research workflow for MRI safety requirements

Essential Functions
  • Perform MRI examinations

  • Maintain MRI equipment and safety standards
  • Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary health care team
  • Document and manage patient information
  • Research of implantable devices for MRI compatibility
  • Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards
  • Assist with workflow and operational efficiency
