• Facilitate and guide a software development product owner, team, and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum concepts, values, practices, and principles focusing on improving team effectiveness.
• Encourage getting work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
• Facilitate discussions and decision-making, and assist in mediation of conflict resolution.
• Lead the team and guide them on how to get the most out of self-organization.
• Give support using a servant leadership style whenever possible, leading by example, and demonstrating value-add principles.
• Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and organization, and coach them to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable.
• Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or judgment, emphasizing healing and problem solving.
• Respond to and remove or find others to remove any reported impediments that obstruct a development team's pursuit of its goals.
• Notice differences and issues as they arise, and elevate them to management.
• Make tough calls, being a voice of reason and authority, ensuring Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to.
• Work, collaborate, and communicate effectively internally and externally, improving transparency and sharing information.
• Organize and facilitate meetings, including preparing, moderating, and post-processing.
• Help with product release planning and enforce deadlines.
• Support and educate the product owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog and release plan.
• Improve personal skills, continually learning new tools and techniques to manage oneself as well as help improve the team.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ten (10) years of prior experience in a similar role.
• DoD 8570 Level II/II certification required.
• Active Security Clearance required.
