Our Komline Custom Machining team is seeking a skilled Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist to aid us in delivering precision parts and components to meet our goals.
Duties and Responsibilities- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to produce precision parts.
- Program CNC machines using G‑code to control machine operations.
- Inspect finished products using precision measurement tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to meet project deadlines and production goals.
- Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and optimize production processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of experience in CNC machining or completion of a technical program in CNC operation.
- Proficiency in operating a 5‑Axis DMG CNC machine and understanding of G‑code/M‑code.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Good problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as required.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, AutoCAD).
- Experience operating CNC lathes or turn‑mill experience.
