This role is for a Registered Nurse to work on a bank basis at Avery Park Care Home in Kettering. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents, including medication management, dressings, and chronic condition management. They will also act as the person in charge, standing in for the as required.

Main duties the job

As a Registered Nurse, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and observe all instructions to act upon their behalf. You will ensure high standards of care for our residents. Other responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.

You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in resident condition, well as the effective deployment and supervision of the care team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

ABOUT YOU

Our ideal candidate must:

  • Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
  • Demonstrate a minimum 2years experience and up to date knowledge of care,supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.
  • Display good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct anddemonstratecare activities.
  • Have Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
