Base pay range$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr
Operations- Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required system start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. Responsible for opening the back door for vendor deliveries.
- Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
- Registers all related sales on the assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors, price verifications, item exceptions, and voids.
- Assists manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics (e.g., returns, empty packages).
- Assists in evaluating and developing displays, including promotional and seasonal merchandises, and completes resets and revisions.
- Maintains accurate inventory counts in key departments, stockroom, and overstock locations.
- Ensures compliance with state and local regulations for regulated products (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
- Assists with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payments.
- Assists with exterior and interior maintenance to maintain a clean, orderly store condition and appearance.
- Engages customers by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members, including proactive help and identifying customer needs.
- Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager.
- Serves as a liaison between management and non‑management team members by communicating assigned tasks when store management is not present.
- Reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
- One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
- Knowledge of store inventory control.
- Will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
- Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Salary Range: $17 - $20 / Hourly
