- Develop, plan, analyze, design products, and program computer software that requires extensive research.
- Utilize advanced knowledge in computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Perform software and system testing procedures, bug verification, release testing, and beta support.
- Perform product design and programming activities involving multiple modules or subsystems.
- Participate in design meetings and consult with other staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
- Perform complex release testing and beta support for assigned projects and resolve problems found in the software.
- Prepare documentation required of the product; analyze and research software requirements to determine feasibility of design and marketing requirements within time and cost constraints.
- Consult with customer concerning application and maintenance of software, coordinate installation of software system, and may serve as a project architect.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Five (5) years of prior experience in a similar role
- DoD 8570 Level II certification required
- Active Security Clearance required
