Developmental level position in the store keeping occupation requiring working knowledge of inventory control, office practices and characteristics of materials inventoried; under general supervision, operates storeroom in receiving, storing, and distributing supplies and equipment.
Receives, unloads, and stores stock in assigned storage area; rotates stocks as needed for efficiency; issues and delivers supplies and equipment to departments or other work locations; operates forklift, unloads and stores equipment and supplies for other departments; operates truck to make deliveries and pickups. 40-50%
Sorts stock; fills orders; charges stock to departments as dispersed; maintains all related records, reports and invoices. 25-30%
Orders supplies and equipment, maintains records of stock received, checks for quantity, quality, sizing requirements specified in order, and destination; completes requisition and withdrawal forms; recommends future material/supply needs; conducts physical supply inventory. 15%
Advises maintenance workers and others regarding equipment needs; tracks and records requisitioned supplies taken by maintenance workers during emergencies (seasonal); pieces together odd-sized pieces for special needs and/or replacement of obsolete materials. 0-5%
Collects and sorts soiled uniforms; maintains and verifies related records and distributes uniforms; posts memos, sorts and distributes mail; performs related maintenance duties. 0-10%

Equivalent to high school diploma; one (1) year experience in a related area.
Driving Requirement:
Must maintain a current, valid United States driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Training and Development:
Must obtain a Certified Forklift certification within sixty (60) calendar days of hire date. Must maintain certification.
