Expected pay for this position is $17.00 - $18.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Transport Driver is responsible for safely transporting patients to and from OSF medical facilities, utilizing the OSF transport vehicle. This position assists patients who do not have a ride to and from their appointments in order to ensure appropriate access to care. The Driver may need to assist patients, operate a wheelchair lift, ensure the vehicle is maintained in a clean and safe condition, and report any potential maintenance requests or warnings.

• High School Diploma/ GED
• Valid state driver’s license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor vehicles driving record abstract.
• CPR – American Heart Association.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in times of need and emergency situations.
• At least 18 years of age

• Previous driving work experience
